Our Story
We started Ficen because every child deserves to be understood.
In Trivandrum, hundreds of families are navigating ADHD, Autism, and Learning Disabilities — often alone, and without clear guidance. Most clinics treat your child and send you home. You rarely know what happened in the session. Ficen was built to change that.
What We Believe
What We Stand For
Visibility
Every parent should know exactly how their child is progressing — not just hear “they did well today” and leave with nothing.
Accessibility
Resources in Malayalam. Because Kerala parents deserve clear information about their child’s development in their own language.
Community
No parent should feel alone. We are building Kerala’s first dedicated support network for families of children who learn differently.
How We Are Different
Ficen vs Other Clinics
| Other Clinics | Ficen |
|---|---|
| Treat your child in a closed room | Share session notes after every visit |
| Send you home with little information | Weekly progress summaries for parents |
| No between-session support | Home activity plans your child does with you |
| English-only communication | Malayalam and English — your choice |
| No community | Parent support network included |
The Team
The People Behind Ficen
Aneesh S S
Founder
After five years in corporate life, a conversation with an occupational therapist friend made Aneesh see what most parents never do: children waiting months for the right support, therapists working in isolation, and families left completely in the dark about their own child’s progress. Drawing on his IIM Mumbai training, he built Ficen because every parent deserves to know exactly how their child is doing, every step of the way.
Sona Manukumar
Strategic Advisor
Born and raised in Dubai, when Sona moved to Kerala she noticed something that troubled her deeply: families in Kerala were struggling to find the right support for their children, often unaware that help even existed and when they did find it, the cost put it out of reach. As a mother of two, that feeling never left her. At Ficen, she channels her love for children and her firm belief that quality care should never be a privilege.
Want to talk before deciding? We would love that.
No forms. No pressure. Just a conversation — in Malayalam or English, whichever feels easier.
